The district of Schmalkalden-Meiningen: 7l pre-sorter with separation instructions
With a pre-sorter, it is much better and easier to separate - and right where the organic waste is produced: in the kitchen. Citizens in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district are reminded directly on their pre-sorters that no bioplastics belong in the organic waste bin. Contaminants are a major problem and if the pre-sorters remind citizens on a daily basis what does and does not belong in the organic waste garbage can, this can make a good contribution to improving the quality of organic waste. The Schmalkalden-Meiningen district relies on our 7-liter pre-sorter made of 100% recycled plastic. We hope that our pre-sorters and the biofilter lids we offer for the organic waste garbage can will contribute to a good start for the nationwide organic waste garbage can in the coming year. Organic waste bins with biofilter-lids in Leverkusen: top-quality organic waste
Leverkusen relies on the bio-filter lid for organic waste bins across the board and the people of Leverkusen separate like world champions. Radio Leverkusen reports: ‘Around 170 households can be supplied with electricity for a whole year from Leverkusen's organic waste. This is the result of an analysis by Avea. Leverkusen's organic waste is first converted into gas and then into electricity in a plant in the Bergisch region. And this works particularly well with our organic waste - according to Avea, Leverkusen's organic waste is very well separated. Random tests had shown that there were hardly any foreign substances in the organic waste - 98 per cent of the bins were rated as good. According to Avea, a family of four can save around 120 euros per year by switching to an organic waste bin. ‘
In addition to the bio-filter lid, Leverkusen also relies on our pre-sorter made from 100% recycled PP with an integrated odour filter. Weiterlesen

Mold spores from the organic waste bins: with biofilter lid at room air level
Organic waste garbage can inspections are commonplace in many municipalities - but what about occupational health and safety? The discharge of mold spores from organic waste garbage cans increases rapidly with every day they are left standing. When workers open the lid to check the contents of a standard garbage can, they expose themselves to high levels of mold spores. However, the emissions from an organic waste garbage can with a bio-filter lid are almost at the level of the ambient air and are harmless - this applies to workers, garbage can inspectors and, of course, the citizens themselves. A nice side effect of our bio-filter lid and our high-performance microorganisms in the bio-filter. These inhibit the growth of fungi. Weiterlesen

Augsburg district: organic waste bins with biofilter lids
The organic waste bin with biofilter lid will be available to citizens in the Augsburg district from summer 2024. We are delighted with the district's decision to offer citizens this option.
The Augsburger Allgemeine writes: "Anyone who thinks that garbage cans are just simple containers is wrong. From July, the district's waste management company will also be offering garbage cans with bio-filter lids for a fee. This will keep odors where they belong. " Weiterlesen
